It is crucial that babies experience different types of movement during their first year of life. Movement promotes the functions of the brain and improves their senses. Swimming gives your baby the benefit of free movement, allowing them to experience actions and sounds that otherwise they would not.

The benefits of taking your baby swimming are numerous:

  • despite the gentle structure of a swimming session, it will provide a complete physical workout, strengthening the heart, lungs and respiratory system of your baby.
  • It is excellent for strengthening core muscles and limbs.
  • A regular swimming routine can promote good sleeping and eating patterns.
  • It is lots of fun and socially stimulating for you and your baby.
